    Any idea why was this event was in 1965 when the Johnson/Goldwater election was in November 1964?

    OK, I now understand the mix-up. This was from the 1965 Battlefield, and I transcribed the date of the publication in the title of the picture, which makes it doubly my fault. The metadata of the image notes it as the 1964 presidential election, but the actual image is dated to its publication in May of 1965.
